What is Serrapeptase?

Serrapeptase is a proteolytic enzyme with powerful anti-inflammatory properties which actually digests inflammatory tissue. Originally found in microbes in the intestine of the Silk Worm, Serrapeptase is the substance used to make a hole in the cocoon so that the moth may emerge and it is also used it to digest the tough Mulberry Leaves on which it feeds.
